Keel lab graduate student, Holly Spinner, is recruiting undergraduate research assistants for her dissertation study focused on developing and testing an intervention to reduce emotional eating in adolescents. Holly expects to recruit 2-3 undergraduate research assistants for this project to begin in Summer 2027. Undergraduates are encouraged to apply if they have an interest in disordered eating and/or adolescent mental health. Undergraduates must be able to commit at least two semesters (preferably more) to working on the project. Keel lab graduate student, Ivan Zhao, is recruiting undergraduate research assistants for his dissertation study that will examine associations between food intake, the body’s hormone response, and exercise in women with bulimia nervosa (BN). Ivan's study aims to better understand the relationship between eating and exercise to help researchers and clinicians develop new ways to support people who experience problems with both eating and exercising too much. During study preparation and recruitment, DIS students may volunteer to help with protocol testing and conduct telephone screenings with potential participants.
