Congratulations to graduate student, Alejandra Medina, for being awarded the Academy for Eating Disorder's (AED) Student/Early Career Investigator/Clinical Trainee Travel Scholarship to support her poster presentation at the 2025 International Conference on Eating Disorders (ICED) in San Antonio, Texas. This award supports students, early career investigators, and clinical trainees to attend an in-person ICED with a $2,000 monetary award and registration fee waiver. Alejandra will be presenting work on her project examining how social media use influences the relationship between friends' behaviors and disordered eating.
